Who we support

Four groups.One safe address.

Our supported accommodation in Sheffield is open to single adults from four groups. Whichever door someone walks in through, they find the same thing: a safe room, on-site staff and the practical help they need next.

Service 01

A safe address when you have nowhere else to turn.

Homeless Adults

Rough sleeping, sofa-surfing, eviction, hostel waiting rooms — homelessness wears people down long before they reach our front door. Liberty Living offers single adults a safe, secure room of their own at 249 Pitsmoor Road, with 24-hour surveillance, on-site staff, and the calm space needed to begin rebuilding. We accept self-referrals and referrals from local authorities, outreach teams, hostels and any professional who is trying to find someone a bed tonight.

  • 24/7 on-site staff and surveillance
  • Single private rooms with shared facilities
  • Move-in support within days, not weeks
Ex-Offenders
Service 02

Stable housing for the first night out and the months after.

02

Ex-Offenders

The hours and days after release are some of the most fragile in a person's life. Liberty Living provides single adults leaving prison with a secure room, on-site staff, and the practical support needed to stay housed and stay out. We work closely with probation officers, prison resettlement teams and approved premises to take referrals — and we're realistic about what life looks like in the first weeks back in the community. No surprises, no judgement, just a steady address while everything else gets sorted.

  • Probation referrals accepted
  • On-site staff and 24/7 surveillance
  • Support with licence conditions and appointments
Substance Misuse
Service 03

A safe place to stay while you work on recovery.

03

Substance Misuse

Recovery from substance misuse is hard enough without worrying about where you'll sleep. Liberty Living offers adults engaging with drug treatment a stable, secure room with 24-hour staff and surveillance — the kind of basic safety that makes engagement with treatment realistic. We work alongside community drug and alcohol teams, GPs and key workers, and we accept referrals from any professional involved in someone's care.

  • Aligned with local drug and alcohol services
  • On-site staff trained in safeguarding
  • Stable address for treatment appointments
Alcohol Misuse
Service 04

Somewhere stable while you change your relationship with alcohol.

04

Alcohol Misuse

Alcohol misuse rarely happens in isolation — it sits alongside housing problems, relationship strain and physical health issues that make change feel impossible. Liberty Living offers a safe room with 24-hour staffing and surveillance so people can focus on the work of recovery without the noise of an unstable environment. We accept referrals from alcohol services, GPs, social workers and other professionals supporting an adult through their alcohol journey.

  • Joined-up with alcohol services
  • 24-hour staff and CCTV throughout
  • Calm, predictable environment

How they fit together

One building.
Four very different stories.

01

Safety

Staff in office 24/7 and CCTV throughout the building. The non-negotiable foundation everything else sits on.

02

Stability

A private room you can lock, a verified address, and the time to start sorting the practical things one by one.

03

Joined-up support

We coordinate with the professionals already involved — probation, drug and alcohol services, councils and outreach.

Whichever group someone falls into, the building holds the same promise: a safe room, staff in office around the clock, and a referral pathway that joins up with the rest of their support.
